The recently installed basketball hoop and goal end on Weston Recreation Ground has been officially opened by the Mayor of Bath. A team from the local Filipino Community played an exciting demonstration match, which was followed by a goal shooting competition. Keith Rowe of Parks and Green Spaces announced that more new equipment will be installed soon on the Rec and in the playground. The basketball hoop is already very popular, and is in constant use.
